For macOS
A real window, and your key.
Same FieldCut, in its own app. A Dock icon, an app menu, no browser bar in the way. It also asks for your licence key instead of being open to anyone.
The build is not published yet.
FieldCut runs in full in the browser in the meantime. Open it here. For the Mac build, message hdw and we will send it over.
01
Open the file you downloaded
It mounts like a drive and a window opens with FieldCut inside.
02
Drag FieldCut into Applications
Then eject the mounted drive from Finder. The downloaded file can be deleted.
03
Run one line in Terminal
Open Terminal from Applications, Utilities. Paste this, press return, and you never need it again.
xattr -cr /Applications/FieldCut.app
04
Open it, and enter your licence key
The key activates this Mac. Need one? Message hdw.
Why step three
Without that line, macOS refuses to open it
FieldCut is not registered with Apple, and macOS marks anything downloaded from the web until it is. For an unregistered app it offers no way past: it claims the app is damaged and gives you only the Bin. Nothing is damaged. That one line clears the download mark, and the app opens normally every time after.
